A new shooting towards a student fired up even more the still not calm youngsters in Greece. Last night around 15 students were sitting in front of their high school in Peristeri until late trying to decide how to continue their protests when they heard a gunshot. One of the kids was shot in the right wrist. His classmates claim that they heard a second shot when they returned to the shooting place to look for the fired-cartridge. The boy was taken to the hospital right away in stable condition. This morning, the bullet was taken out through surgery.

According to the father of the injured boy, who is famous Greek trade-union figure, the X-rays of the wound and the bullet show that it was by a firearm. According to the police spokesman Panayotis Statis the doctors said that the wound was caused by an air-gun. The police are investigating the case but the official statement says that during the time of the incident there were not police in the area.
