They say the secret of success is to work hard, but the truth is that what makes you show up is to show that you belong to what you do and Mihalis Hadzigiannis was surely born to be on stage. Finally, he decided to reveal the secrets of his relationship with Zeta Makripoulia and to admit that he thinks about family and children. In an interview for the Down Town magazine the famous Greek singer talks about his family in Cyprus, the chemistry between him and Zeta Makripoulia, his fears and the crisis of the 30.

When you learn the history of Hadzigiannis you will not wonder why he speaks of himself as a person who likes to be alone to compose, to go to quiet places in the evening instead of large noisy concerts and clubs.

His mother and his father made their wedding in Cyprus and after a week their city was occupied by Turkish troops, forcing them to leave their home place. Then his father disappears and only after several years he meets the mother in the city of Nicosia, where Mihalis was born in 1978. He himself was a soldier on the Green Line that divides the island into two and says he will never forget the moments of the barracks. But now he has found peace, he lives with Zeta and he is terribly in love with her and says that he feels like in his teenage years.

"I do not fall in love easy. On the contrary, I have never thought about love quite a few months ago. I did not attach great importance to it. I always think more about my work. The first sight can shake you but to feel in love and to say that you have found your mate, you need to communicate," said Mihalis.

Yet Mihalis has his fears and inner torments. He said that when he became 30 years old he experienced a crisis of age. He even thought that he would have to go to a psychologist. "I have always thought that the age of thirty is something distant that will never happen to me. But I realized that life is very short and goes in an instant. But it is also nice and worth to live it in the best way. To stop and think things through. To see what are your priorities."

But there are things that Mihalis failed to overcome. It is his fear of airplanes or even he does not drive himself when traveling by car. He explains that he is afraid of what is out of his control.

"I'm pretty introverted and closed person. But it is also due to my work, because when I am alone I can compose and write songs. Anyway, I don’t meet many people. I try to distance myself from things. But I do not like to stay alone. I want people around me. But valuable people."

Mihalis Hadzigiannis apparently found his refuge in the arms of Zeta Makripoulia. They share everything, although Mihalis admits that he has not yet gone to see her now when she plays in the theatrical performance.

And when does love end? "When there is no desire, when the passion is gone, when two people look into their eyes and have nothing to say, when you do not expect the other to get home, when you choose to do other things instead of being together. All this can make the love go away."
