Arrested members of the "Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei" had inspired the attack against Coca-Cola in Greece, according to the Greek police officers involved in the investigation. They associated the "Green Nemesis" plan with the so-called "Phoenix" plan, which was implemented in early June with the car bombing of the director of the prison in Korydallos Maria Stephi. Furthermore, the Informal Anarchist Federation – FAI assumed responsibility for the sabotage of the products of Coca-Cola and Nestlé, which also assumed responsibility (together with the terrorist organization "Conspiracy") for the "Phoenix" plan.

Responsible police officers indicated that the order for the implementation of the "Green Nemesis" plan was given from the prison in Korydallos, where members of the core group of "Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei" are detained (which corresponds to what the police have said). The same was noted in the case of "Phoenix" when a fact was revealed - that a few days before the sending of the parcel-bomb, one of the detainees for the assassination attempt against former director of the anti-terrorism office Dimitris Horianopoulos, 30-year-old S.M., met Christos Tsakalos who is arrested for involvement in the terrorist group "Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei" in the prison in Korydallos. To the new terrorist project, the police have also added an uploaded video on the web, as well as the creation of a new website, both propagating the actions of the "Phoenix" plan and "Conspiracy of Fire Nuclei". It should also be noted that the comment in this video is Christos Tsakalos’s!

Specifically regarding the sabotage of soft drinks, among other things, the warning which was sent by post on Monday to the site zougla.gr and the Espresso newspaper (together with a soft drink contaminated with hydrochloric acid) mentioned the following: "This action marks the beginning of the next joint project of informal groups and cores of FAI". Also, there is a nominal reference to eco-terror organizations such as ELF (Earth Liberation Front) and ALF (Animal Liberation Front). It is noted that "FAI finds a perspective inviting its fellows of ELF and ALF to a common international revenge attack against our life’s killers." It should be noted that last year in June, Yiannis Michailidis, who was arrested for participation in the organization "Conspiracy" and the double robbery in Velvendo in Kozani, published a letter calling for "sabotage of the technical and scientific infrastructure of civilization", at the same time sending greetings to "the cores of the international networks of ALF and ELF," as well as to FAI.

In the UK

There was a similar case (sabotage of consumer goods) in the UK in September 2011. At the time, the aim of the attack was the pharmaceutical company Reckitt Benckiser, when unknown people had contaminated packaging of painkiller Nurofen with antidepressant drug Seroquel XL. At the time, the company was obliged to withdraw these products, as did Coca-Cola (which also bottles Nestlé’s product Nestea). Since Tuesday, the company has announced that it would withdraw the plastic packaging of CocaCola Light 500 ml and all flavours of Nestea as a preventive measure. According to the latest information, the withdrawal was in force yesterday, too, since it would not be possible to withdraw the products because of the Christmas Holidays.
