Vandals tore down and burned the Greek and Cypriot flags from the cemetery in the town of Limassol. Yesterday, unknown individuals tore down the flags from the grave of former President of Cyprus Spyros Cyprianos and from other graves in Lemesos. Then they carried and left them in an old fountain in the cemetery and burnt them.

Also they broke night-lights and other items, which were on top of the graves. Police have launched an investigation in order to find and arrest the vandals. Let us remind you that on Friday strangers tore down and threw the Greek along with the Cyprian flag, which was on top of the grave of former President of Cyprus Tassos Papadopoulos.

One month after the corpse of former Cypriot president was stolen, his grave was defiled for the second time. Greek flag was found torn behind a commemorating plaque on Friday morning at 8:00AM by the personal bodyguards of the family.
