While the Greek parliament was voting on the agreement with creditors, a street war was taking place outside its building, involving Molotov cocktails, stones, tear gas. The clashes between anarchists and the riot forces of Greek police continued for hours. Cars were burning, underground stations became the target of vandalism.

The police detained 25 people, including four Germans, three Poles, two Frenchmen, one Albanian, Ukrainian, Dutchman and Australian. They will face a prosecutor on charges of involvement in riots, assaulting police officers and causing damage to public property.
