Elevation Festival loaded with pop, funk, rock and rap

The mystery surrounding the Elevation 2011 festival is being unraveled bit by bit. Pop-funk icon and legendary hip-hop band will be the main headliners of the first edition of the open-air event which will take place near the town of Razlog. The organizers did not announce their names which will be clear within 2-3 weeks. Elevation 2011 will be held in two parts on 24th and 25th of  June. The focus during the first day will be on pop sound and during the second - on rock music.

The performers who have confirmed so far and are formally announced are 30 Seconds To Mars - known as the band of the Hollywood star Jared Leto, the hot duo Hurts, Parov Stelar who flooded their Sofia fans with their distinctive power swing a few months ago, the hip-hop eminence Dog Eat Dog, the German reggae phenomenon Gentleman & The Evolution, Metropolis DJs, the Greeks Cyanna and several Bulgarian bands among which Odd Crew, Sepuko 6, Monyx.

The event will take place on an area of 100 acres and will have camping area. Access for cars will be limited, but free buses will be provided from Razlog and Bansko to transport the fans to the festival, announced the mayor of Razlog Krasimir Gerchev at a press conference.

Tickets are on sale in the network of Eventim. The first 5000 two-day festival tickets are at the promo price of BGN 96. After the sale the two-day ticket will cost BGN 120. One-day ticket costs BGN 70. For the first time family tickets are offered too. For more information the fans can follow the web site of the event.
