The name Antonis Remos has drawn media interest lately with several different events. On the one hand, it turned out that the singer had forgotten to pay about one million euro of VAT at the time he acted as president of Iraklis FC and on the other, it became clear that he is one of the favourite artists of "Desperate Housewives" star - Eva Longoria. As for the unclear finances, Remos has to explain them to the prosecutor in Thessaloniki early this month. He said he has already approached the settlement of tax contributions and the repayment process for the unpaid VAT is already underway. The investigator and the prosecutor on the case have accepted the Remos' explanations and released him.

A more pleasant surprise for Remos than the visit to the prosecutor’s office in Thessaloniki turned out to be the news that Eva Longoria is his true fan. She admits that she loves Greece and its music and can even hum some refrains from the hits of the Greek singer. Asked what she knew about Greece, the Hollywood star replied, that her relationship with Greece dates back to before she met her husband. She can say "I love you" (Σ'αγαπώ) in Greek, because she had a long relationship with a Greek. She has never been to Greece with him, but learned a lot about the country from him. She said that she and her former friend often attended a small cozy Greek taverna in Malibu, and other sites traditional for the Greek community, and she has always listened to Greek music in the car. The actress, who plays Gabby in the famous series "Desperate Housewives", admits that she constantly listened to Antonis Remos more than ten years ago but she still remembers the rhythm and his songs.

In the meantime, it became clear that Remos is ready to please his fans with a new song that will be on the radio this week. It is called "Kilometres" and is part of the soundtrack to Poker Face, directed by Christos Dimas and screenplayed by Aspa Kaliani.
